1. General Information
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of georgian.ee (the “Platform”).
The Platform is operated by Tamar Tchavtchavadze (“Operator”, “we”, “us”).
Georgian.ee operates as an online marketplace platform that connects customers with independent third-party vendors, primarily located in Georgia.
2. Role of the Platform
The Operator provides a digital marketplace service that enables vendors to list products and customers to place orders.
Georgian.ee is not the seller of marketplace products and does not usually manufacture, own, ship or store such products.
Each product page clearly identifies:
-The seller (vendor or Store), and
-The shipping origin.
3. Contractual Relationship
For marketplace products, the sales contract is concluded directly between the customer and the respective vendor.
The Operator is not a party to the sales contract between the customer and the vendor.
For products explicitly marked as sold by the Operator and shipped from local stock, the Operator acts as the seller.
4. Eligibility and Use of the Platform
By using the Platform, you confirm that you have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements under applicable law.
Users agree to use the Platform in accordance with these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations
5. Prices and Payments
Product prices are determined by the respective sellers and displayed on the product page.
Payments may be completed using the payment methods made available on the Platform, including manual bank transfer.
Orders are processed only after payment has been received and confirmed.
The Operator may facilitate payments on behalf of vendors.
Payment facilitation does not make the Operator the seller of marketplace products.
6. Shipping and Delivery
6.1 Marketplace Products (Shipped from Georgia)
Most products available on the Platform are sold by independent vendors and shipped directly from Georgia using a professional third-party logistics provider.
Estimated delivery time: approximately 2–3 weeks
Shipping rate: 5.5 EUR per 1 kilogram
Minimum shipment charge: 5.5 EUR per order
*Orders weighing less than 1 kg are charged as 1 kg.
Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by customs clearance, public holidays, or logistics delays beyond the Operator’s control.
6.2 Locally Stocked Products (If Applicable)
Some products may be sold directly by the Operator and shipped from local stock.
Such products are clearly marked on the product page as:
“Store: TamarT” and “Ships from: Estonia”.
Delivery times and shipping costs for locally stocked products are stated on the product page or during checkout.
7. Customs, VAT, and Import Charges
Products shipped from outside the European Union are subject to import procedures.
The customer acts as the importer of record and may be required to pay import VAT, customs duties, or other charges imposed by local authorities.
The Operator has no control over customs procedures and cannot influence customs decisions, delays, or additional charges.
8. Returns, Refunds, and Complaints
8.1 Marketplace Products
For marketplace products, return and refund conditions are determined by the vendor. Customers must contact the vendor directly regarding product issues
The Operator may assist with communication but does not resolve disputes or issues related with refunds.
8.2 Locally Stocked Products
For products sold directly by the Operator, EU consumer protection laws apply, including the 14-day withdrawal right. More detailed Return and Refund policy also available for our cusatomers.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on the Platform, excluding vendor-provided content, is the intellectual property of the Operator or its licensors.
Content may not be used, reproduced, or distributed without prior written consent.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Operator shall not be liable for actions or omissions of vendors, product defects or inaccuracies, delivery delays or losses caused by logistics providers, customs decisions or import-related charges.
11. Personal Data
Personal data is processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.
12. Changes to the Terms and Conditions
The Operator reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time.
The most current version will always be available on the Platform. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms and Conditions.
13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Estonia.
Any disputes arising from or related to the use of the Platform shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Estonia.
